WELCOME TO THE RFH STATE-OF-ART STEAM LAB
The Rumson Fair Haven Education Foundation’s newest and most significant funding project for our high school is a state-of-the-art computer science classroom that empowers RFH students with dynamic 21st century college-ready courses, technology and instruction that is now a permanent addition to the RFH curriculum. The STEAM LAB opened to the RFH student body in September 2020 with three classes: Intro to Computer Science, AP Computer Science, and AP Computer Science Principles. These classes mimic a college-level environment to increase the academic rigor for hundreds of RFH students year over year.
The STEAM LAB is located in Room 106, which is situated in an area of the school slated to become a future “Tech Hub” for RFH students.
During the 2020-2021 school year, the STEAM LAB holds four class sections of Computer Science and two sections of AP Computer Science allowing the school to increase these course offerings from just 24 students prior to the STEAM LAB to over 100!
The STEAM LAB will become available to academic clubs to hold before and after school club meetings in the near future, too!
Congratulations to the Class of 2021!
The Rumson Fair Haven Education Foundation was proud to present to the Class of 2021 a little humor, levity and commemoration at their 100 Days Event - a celebration that highlights the countdown to 100 days until graduation. It is an important milestone in reflecting on every students’ path to this point in their high school careers. The last year has not been easy! During these unprecedented times, our seniors have set a remarkable example for our underclassmen and they should be commended for this. Our students are making history in the way they are learning - nothing like this has ever been done before and we know it hasn't been easy. We encourage our students to continue their inspiring optimism and remain Bull Dawg strong as we move into warmer months that will bring more bright opportunities for the remainder of the school year. We are so proud of you, Class of 2021!
