Founded in 2001, the R-FH High School Foundation is a charitable organization whose mission is to fund projects and grants that will enrich the high school education program but fall outside the school system budget. The projects and grants, proposed by teachers and the board, provide state-of-the-art technology, resources and creative supplements to RFHRHS consistent with the Foundation’s commitment to exceptional education. Field trips, transportation costs, auxiliary classroom equipment, speakers and presentations are just a few of the various items granted through the Foundation.
The Foundation has successfully completed several significant capital campaigns including a world language computer lab, an auditorium projection system, and high-technology lab. The organization recently completed the Auditorium Sound and Lighting Project. Since it’s inception, the Foundation has raised over $500,000 for capital campaigns and numerous smaller grants.
